1. Who we are
Native Cebuano is operated by Stefan Rosenwald, 70563 Affalterbach, Germany, contact@native-cebuano.com ("we", "us"). As a small business under §19 UStG, no VAT is shown or charged on our prices.
2. What you're buying
Native Cebuano is a Cebuano (Bisaya) vocabulary and grammar trainer. For a single one-time payment of €9 (or ₱650), you receive:
- Lifetime access to the online trainer under your registered account
- A downloadable, self-contained offline version of the trainer
- Free updates to future versions of the trainer
This is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. There is no recurring charge.
3. Free demo
A free demo with a limited selection of words and phrases is available without registration or payment, so you can try the trainer before buying.
4. Account & access
To purchase, you need to register with a valid email address and confirm it via the verification link we send you. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Access to the paid content is granted only after your payment has been confirmed by our payment provider.
5. Right of withdrawal for digital content
Under EU consumer law, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a purchase made online. However, this right does not apply to digital content not supplied on a physical medium once we have begun performance (i.e. granted you access to the trainer), provided that you have given your prior express consent to this and acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal as a result (Art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU; §356(5) BGB in Germany).
You will be asked to give this consent explicitly with a checkbox at checkout, before your payment is processed. If you do not give this consent, we cannot grant you immediate access.
6. Payment
Payment is processed via PayPal, or via GCash/Maya through our payment partner PayMongo. We do not store your card, PayPal, GCash, or Maya login details. Prices are shown in EUR and PHP for reference; the actual charge currency depends on the payment method you choose.
7. Refunds
Because access to digital content is granted immediately and the right of withdrawal is waived as described in Section 5, purchases are generally final. If you believe the trainer is materially not as described, or you were charged in error, contact contact@native-cebuano.com and we will review it in good faith. This does not affect any statutory warranty rights for defective digital content under applicable law.
8. Account deletion
You may delete your account at any time from your account dashboard. This removes your login and stored online progress. It does not revoke a copy of the offline trainer you have already downloaded, and — since this is a one-time purchase, not a subscription — deleting your account does not entitle you to a refund of a payment already processed under Section 7.
9. Acceptable use
The trainer is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. Please don't redistribute, resell, or publicly share your downloaded copy or your account access.
10. Liability
We provide the trainer "as is" and aim for accuracy in all content, which has been reviewed by a native Cebuano speaker. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the trainer, to the extent permitted by law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by German law. If you are a consumer habitually resident in another EU member state, mandatory consumer protection provisions of that country may also apply.
